Hello and welcome to Nurse Kaly!
Welcome! I’m Nurse Kaly, and I’m passionate about teaching teens and young adults the skills and mindset they need to thrive. My journey began at age 8 when my family immigrated to New York. Growing up in a bustling household with many siblings, I found solace in my own curiosity, often getting lost in my thoughts amid the chaos. I was a defiant little spirit, and that same spirit is what drives my passion projects today.
A Career Shaped by Experience
In 2016, I became a bedside nurse in one of New York’s largest healthcare systems. My career spanned across different specialties in the hospital, and I stood on the frontlines during the COVID-19 pandemic, becoming forever changed after witnessing the devastating unpredictability and fragility of life. It was these humbling and transformative experiences that brought the Nurse Kaly mission to life.
Mission: Confidence, Growth, and Authentic Living
At the heart of my work is the belief that every person deserves the tools to unlock their unique potential and to pursue what truly matters to them—whether that’s travel, caregiving, creative expression, or simply living on their own terms. Through self‑discovery, skill-building, and mindset-cultivation, I encourage teens to dream courageously and live authentically. Authenticity is our greatest gift to ourselves and the world. My mission is to help young people recognize the beauty within them and give them the tools to bring their art to life.
Looking ahead
My long-term vision is to establish a skills development center — a space where teens and young adults can discover and hone their passions, develop skills, build resilience, and grow. A place that is supportive and engaging. A safe place that fosters confidence, camaraderie, and global citizenship. This is the vision that guides the Nurse Kaly projects of today.
